Bockfest 2020

It's that time again! Time to come outside and join in the 28th edition of Cincinnati's unique tradition called Bockfest, celebrating Bock beer and the coming of Spring.

Pre-Bockfest activities can be seen at http://www.bockfest.com/pre-bockfestivities.html and include the Sausage Queen Preliminary Rounds as well as the Precipitation Retaliation involving the burning of a snowman in effigy (Milton's Tavern, 5:30pm on Friday February 21). The Bockfest 5K happens at 10am Saturday February 29.

A full list of events and the official participating venues can be seen at http://www.bockfest.com. Meet new people, try a new beer, and enjoy part of Cincinnati's historic heritage. As always, a free shuttle will be available between all participating venues.

DRC Monthly Meeting

Join your neighbors to hear what all is happening downtown, with regular reports from the Police and Fire Departments. After the meeting, be sure to join us for some social time.

Art on Vine: Local Madness

Rhinegeist Brewery, 1910 Elm St

On Sunday March 15, Rhinegeist hosts the second in a series of three "Art On Vine" events. Up to 70 local artists will have fine arts and hand-made goods on display and for sale.

Free to the public and family-friendly with food by a local vendor. Parking is across the street in Rhinegeist's lot, or along Elm.

Cincinnati Reds Opening Day

Downtown, OTR, and Great American Ball Park

Mark your calendars for Opening Day in Cincinnati! All around downtown and OTR during the day, you'll be sure to see people around celebrating.

At Noon, see the 101st Annual Findlay Market Parade, starting at Findlay Market - the route from there will be down Race Street and then east (making a left) onto 5th Street up to the Taft Theater.

At 4:10pm at Great American Ball Park, the Opening Day game itself commences against the St. Louis Cardinals.
