CANCELLED - Paddlefest 2020

7am to midday Aug 01, 2020

Riverfront locations

Unfortunately Adventure Crew has determined that it cannot offer a safe and high-quality Paddlefest this year in August.

However, they are offering a new virtual event "Paddle For A Purpose" in which paddlers can complete the 9 miles in their own way. Details at https://www.ohioriverpaddlefest.org/paddle-for-a-purpose. A link to the Press Release is at the bottom of that page.

Paddlefest is an annual event in Cincinnati in which paddlers can register for one of two races (the full 9-mile course, or the 4.2-mile "Race To The Roebling"), or, opt to complete the full 9-mile course and take in the river's beauty at their own casual pace. The full course runs from Schmidt Recreation Complex (2944 Humbert Avenue), to the take-out area at Gilday Riverside Park (3540 Southside Avenue).

NEW SHOW - Growing A Rainbow

Tues Jul 7 through Sun Aug 23, 2020

Krohn Conservatory, 950 Eden Park Dr

The Krohn Conservatory has re-opened with new safety guidelines, and presents numerous flower beds in the shapes of arches, each with flowers of a specific color. In the center of the room is a long, peaceful water pond for reflection.

For this summer show, guests are generally required to wear face masks and maintain a distance between households of 6 feet or more. To allow for one-way traffic the entry has been moved to the Conservatory's desert house.

CANCELLED - Flying Pig Marathon Weekend

Oct 9 through Oct 11, 2020

Various locations

It is with sadness and a heavy heart that the Board of Directors and staff of Pig Works have decided to cancel its remaining in-person 2020 events, including the Flying Pig Marathon, the Queen Bee Half Marathon weekends, and the Hudepohl 14K/7K Brewery Run.

Participants are invited to complete the events virtually to support the ongoing success of our non-profit organization. In any case, registrants will receive an email detailing their options for participation, including: an engaging virtual experience, deferral to a future year, or donating their registration fee.
