Instructors on the dance floor teach the basic steps, and when it gets too hot, dancers cool down with a cold soft drink or adult beverage. A variety of food items from Skyline, Abuelo's and The Elusive Cow will be available for purchase throughout the evening.

The Secret & Old Spice Downtown Dash and Block Party returns to 7th and Sycamore on Friday, Aug. 6. 5th Street Gallery - 5th and Vine Strs
"A Celebration of Life," paintings by Cincinnati artist Joyce Phillips Young, opens July 9 at the 5th Street Gallery, 55 West 5th St in downtown Cincinnati. The artist's reception is open to the public from 6-9pm on July 9 and the show runs through August 7. Joyce Young's colorful and joyous paintings of the human figure are filled with love and motion,celebrating life with positive images to illustrate the human spirit. Young, a native of Yellow Springs, Ohio, received BFA an ME degrees from Miami University, and also attended the Cincinnati Art Academy. Her work has received many awards, and has been shown at the Cincinnati Art Museum , the Contemporary Arts Center, the Weston Art Gallery, Closson's Art Gallery, and other Midwest exhibitions. Offered by the Cincinnati Preservation Association May through October, these guided walking tours are a great way to explore Cincinnati history and architecture and learn fun and interesting facts about our city. There are 8 tours throughout Cincinnati -- two of them are focused exclusively on DOWNTOWN and two more explore historic OVER THE RHINE.
DOWNTOWN TOUR INFO: Every first and third Saturdays and Sundays at 2 pm. Tours last about 2 hours. The downtown tours begin at the Contemporary Arts Center , at the corner of 6th and Walnut Streets. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the CAC at the time of the tour (no need for advance purchases).
OTR tours are the second/fourth Saturday mornings and depart from the Coffee Emporium. FINDLAY MARKET/BREWERY DISTRICT tours are the first/third Saturday mornings.

First priority for tickets will be provide to youth artists and their families, program presenters and Summer Arts volunteers.

Designed to provide better understanding between citizens and police through education, meetings will be held at the Cincinnati Police Academy, 800 Evans Street, on Wednesday evenings from 6-9 pm. Some of the topics covered include laws of arrest, traffic contacts, use of force, criminal investigation process, domestic violence and personal safety. Light refreshments will be available.

ARCHITREKS TOURS OF YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD! DOWNTOWN AND OTR TOURS!
THE DRC IS A 2010 SEASON SPONSOR OF THE DOWNTOWN TOUR!
Offered by the Cincinnati Preservation Association May through October, these guided walking tours are a great way to explore Cincinnati history and architecture and learn fun and interesting facts about our city. There are 8 tours throughout Cincinnati -- two of them are focused exclusively on DOWNTOWN and two more explore historic OVER THE RHINE.
DOWNTOWN TOUR INFO: Every first and third Saturdays and Sundays at 2 pm. Tours last about 2 hours. The downtown tours begin at the Contemporary Arts Center , at the corner of 6th and Walnut Streets. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the CAC at the time of the tour (no need for advance purchases).
OTR tours are the second/fourth Saturday mornings and depart from the Coffee Emporium. FINDLAY MARKET/BREWERY DISTRICT tours are the first/third Saturday mornings.
